George Tenet has a new book deal. $4 million-plus from crown, expected out late in 2006. (Couldn't it be before the mid-terms?) and called AT THE CENTER OF THE STORM.
Publisher's Lunch reports it will be about "the actions of national leaders during times of crisis and war," what went right (nothing, I say) and what went wrong. Also how the now-famous 16 words in the SOTU made it into the speech.
PL also notes a new expose, for publication in fall 2006, by a Former Army Counterintelligence Special Agent, Dave DeBatto, saying Army intelligence's prediction of 9/11 were ignored, that the Army later denied ever having made the prediction and destroyed evidence of that prediction in a massive and well-coordinated cover-up.
