Given the disaster that Medicare Part D has been, I couldn't help but choke when I read the following quote from an AP story about today's Senate hearings.
"Sen. Conrad Burns, R-Mont., said Americans are used to having things in an instant. It will take time to work out the problems, he said."
So old and disabled people who aren't getting life saving medicines aren't patient enough?
That sounds like pretty like a pretty bad policy argument to me...
