Accustomed to seeing Bushco "Cheneying" Senate and Congress Repugs and seeing the Repugs constantly "Drop the soap" on the Dems with so many of them who, at an "Alarming Frequency", dutifully bend over to pick it up.
I thought I had seen the ultimate in wimpishness (sic).
I was wrong, Oil Executives flipped the bird to the Republicans in The Senate Judiciary Committee who took it "Bareback" and without lubrication.
Or, did they? After all, money is the best lubricant. Isn't? Pity us consumers who do not have it and keep getting it from the fat cats, i.,e., Big Dick Cheney.
I'm outraged beyond belief and this is what I'm talking about:
Oil execs refuse to testify at Senate hearing
Tue Jan 31, 11:04 AM ET
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Officials from six major oil companies have refused to testify this week at a Senate hearing looking into whether oil industry mergers in recent years have made gasoline more expensive at the pump.
The Senate Judiciary Committee, which is holding the hearing on Wednesday morning, said it asked representatives from Exxon Mobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Valero Energy and the U.S. units of BP and Royal Dutch Shell to tell their side of the story.
"All declined the invitation to testify" The committee said in a statement on Monday, without providing details.
I heard this news somewhere, in passing, and for a little while it didn't register in my mind, until it hit me for what it was and meant.
So I did some research.
There's not much about it online, as a matter of fact, this is the only article I got from my cursory search.
Have you seen any coverage of it in the MSM?
Um, I'm curious to see if the Judiciary Committee will have the nerve to subpoena them considering the news blackout/media control not much different than it was in ficticious Oceania where ...disease, crime and insanity prevailed.
Does it sounds familiar?
I think they'll take it, they won't dare challenge Bushco in fear they will get "Cheneyed"
What do you think?
For a little background, I'll throw in another article about some of these Executives.
