Most of us who have received our natural gas bills this month are in $$$ shock.
And most of us probably already know to use the COLD rinse setting on washing machines (no real point in using warm).
But it occurred to me today while I was rinsing cans and bottles for the recycle bin that I was using warm water--as I always had. Why? Cold is about as good. (I know some say don't even bother rinsing glass--but I'm a bit "anal".)
Anyway. I realized, maybe there are some other $energy tips I missed. And as costs soar, even some of the more obscure tips may merit revisiting.
Any other old/new ideas some of us may have missed?
