Technology Review reports
http://www.technologyreview.com/... :
"The U.S. government concluded its ''Cyber Storm'' wargame Friday, its biggest-ever exercise to test how it would respond to devastating attacks over the Internet from anti-globalization activists, underground hackers, and bloggers.
"Bloggers?
"The worldwide simulation challenged government officials and industry executives to respond to deliberate misinformation campaigns and activist calls by Internet bloggers, online diarists whose ''Web logs'' include political rantings and musings about current events."
Now, I know what you're thinking -- bloggers have been running rampant for far too long, and it's about time someone stood up to these people. =)
So, what kind of menace could a blogger assault look like? Well, I know we shouldn't speculate in public, but I think we can't underestimate the impact of an angry "Save the Whales" campaign or a desperate "Oil Won't Last Forever!" scare. Imagine the unrest that could follow in their wake.
Humph! Haven't these troglodytes anything better to do? Must we be forced to analyze and filter their every word? When, oh when Lord, will they finally learn?!
Editorial Note from AUTOCENSOR PRIME:
Please disregard the above blogger post. Obviously it is false, as it contains disquieting elements not authorized by CYBERCOMMAND. If this had been a real warning, you would have been given instructions on how to respond and what to think about it.
Please have a happily conditioned day. That is an order.
Thank you.

Actually, while the above article is real, my commentary is entirely a joke. In case you hadn't noticed... =)
