I do not live in chicago and I cant vote for Christine. I have however sent her my money and I urge you do so as well.
Chicago is being a presented with 2 paths for the democratic party.
- The continuation of big money corporate "we decide who runs and wins and who we can control" candidates.
- The grassroots candidate who is chosen by the people with whom the candidate lives with every single day and knows their issues because they are hers as well.
Put your money where your progressive non corporate government hearts are and give to christine Cegelis and help take back our country.

Duckworth is a Zell LIEberman democrat at best and is supported by the wonderful people who have sucked up to Bush and his brown shirts for 5 years now.
Tammy Duckworth said she would have voted for the patriot act and then would push for additional changes in the future. She also noted, however, that if information derived from electronic eavesdropping or other forms of intelligence gathering would have prevented 9/11 or "saved the life of a single soldier," that benefit WOULD OUTWAY ANY PRIVACY CONCERNS>
Duckworth has few ties to the district, which gives Roskam a platform fro which to bash her bio and highlight his home town local roots. He is very experienced and knows the district.
Duckworth has tons of ties to DC and Chicago insiders, giving Roskam an out when she tries to pin his ties to DC and DeLay.
Duckworth has been inconsistent on the issues, giving Roskam the platform from which to highlight his consistency and trustworthiness (cough, gag).
Duckworth will divide the base, giving Roskam the extra 2-3% he needs to win.
Cegelis has none of these issues. She's the better candidate if we want to win in November and change the direction of our country and the democratic party.
