BTW, Fuckless is my new word to replace clueless. They are clueless and every time they make a clueless statement, we are fucked. Woe de me!
Rummy said this today:
"Turning our backs on postwar Iraq today would be the modern equivalent of handing postwar Germany back to the Nazis," he wrote in an essay in The Washington Post.
Now, let's just do a little comparison on this statement. Shall we....
Germany was a defeated country. Iraq was a country with a defeated leader.
We had a PLAN..The Marshall Plan. In Iraq, no plan.
No one was still fighting us in Germany after they surrendered. No one really surrendered in Iraq.
Germany was a modern up to date country. Iraq is a 3rd World Country living like 400 years ago.
German people were tired of the war and wanted to get back to their lives of yesterday. For Iraqis with nothing else to do but argue among their religious groups, their career choice is war.
German people were highly educated and understood capitalism. Iraqi people understood Sadamm.
In Germany, 4 countries were in charge of the takeover. In Iraq, in the coalition, (And don't forget Poland) the USA is the only one running the show.
And finally, to sum up my point, Germany had modern conveniences, lovely country side, and culture. Iraqi's have good people with a lot of sand.
In order to create a peaceful Iraq, you need to replace the war of religion with the religion of capitalism. In other words, make them another China or Japan. They have nothing to do. Nothing to do it with. And certainly no goals except to get the Americans out of their country.
We liberated Iraq from a tyrant, but we became the new tyrant in their eyes.
There are many more comparisons that I could add, but maybe you could add your own thoughts. Please.
