God what is the Democratic party coming to.  I was listening to the radio just now, meet the press I think, and Ted Kennedy would not even come out unequivocally in support of Feingold's Censure resolution.

He waffled about the investigative committee etc. etc.  What is he worried about that the republicans will demonize him and call a traitorous liberal.  For Christ sake grow a spine someone.  And people wonder why so many people are not even registered to vote.  There is not one iota of difference in the parties it seems to me.  Don't the get it the opposition party is able and require to oppose not just hide and wait for the republicans to implode.  Let's help push them off the cliff not just watch them run off.  Let's step on their fingers as they crawl back up not offer a helping hand.

ARRGGG the party has left me behind.  Am I becoming a radical or is it the party has just died of apathy and self interest.

Sorry for the rant but I just can't stand it anymore.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

..who are not supporting Feingold because you think he is grandstanding for 08 and you don’t want to risk your, or your friends, chances in the primary I say to you if you can’t support a good, I say great, idea of a political rival because of your own self interest then I don’t want you as a president.  A president should support good ideas even if they come, (like it will happen/snark), from a republican.

Again how will you stand up to the republicans in 08 if you cannot stand up to an unpopular lame duck president.  Gads grow a spine.

    Tip if you wish.
