INDIANAPOLIS -- The University of Florida Gators (
News,
Website) captured this year's National College Championship trophy by employing the strategy Abraham Lincoln used during the 1860 Presidential Campaign.
"Armando was right about Alberto Gonzales," Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, proprietor of the largest political blog, once
testified. It appears Armando may also have been right about the Gators and also the 1860 strategy.
At the half, the Gators had a 36-25 lead over the UCLA Bruins.
"Now, does this mean the fight is over?" Armando asked a good time before the start of the second half. "I say decidedly no."
If Armando was right about Gonzalez and also right about the University of Florida Gators, then maybe some consideration of Lincoln's 1860 strategy is in order?
In politics, like basketball, there are winners and losers. If Democrats are going to win during the six year itch, how about some contrast between us and the losers? Not only was Armando was right about Gonzalez, but Florida won big.
The final score was Florida 73 to UCLA 57.
