But this sounds good. My feeling on this issue was that it wasn't the best example to use when discussing racism. While racism may have been a important factor in this episode it wasn't something that was obvious. infact it seemed that public support was with the police.

"Representative Cynthia McKinney has expressed
"sincere regret" for her altercation with a Capitol police officer, and offered an apology to the House.
The Democrat from Georgia's Fourth District made her comments on the House in Washington this afternoon.
In her remarks on the House floor, she said "There should NOT have been any physical contact in this incident."
She adds she's "sorry" that what she calls a
"misunderstanding" happened. She says she regrets its escalation."
Well on the house floor...thats good, at least it wasn't a e-mail out.
