Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington called for a DOJ investigation into Sensenbrenner asking lobbyists for a free vacation. The lobbyist group had cancelled the trip, thinking that after the whole Jack Abramoff scandal the trip may look bad (duh!). Apparently JS didn't like that too much. He "felt so strongly" about the taking the trip that he asked the group to reschedule it - an act that may be in violation of federal law.
Here is the press release from the group.
And, of course, help Sensenbrenner's opponent,
Bryan Kennedy, get the message out!
