ABC's first two pieces were on Iraq tonight. The fist report was on the deaths of two of CBS's employees in Iraq. Baghdad to be specific. The reporter wrapped up the piece by observing that Baghdad has
"Become the most dangerous city in the world."
Great, at least we are still number one at something. And Bush has found his nitch. He can now distroy an important city with the best of them.
The second story was about the riot's in Kabul. The opening scene was of young men screaming at the camera, while thier compatriots rioted in the background. One young man's screams were subtitled, and translated went more or less like this: "THEY ARE KILLING US,KILLING US. OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN!!."
None of these scenes reminded me at all of WWII, the war we all associate with Memorial Day.
Question is, how low will he go following this awful Memorial Day, the day America turns it eyes to the military dead; past, present, next minute, tommorow, the future.
I say the range will be 26 to 30.
Take the poll.
