I have been refreshing the page all day to see her take on how the common Iraqi is responding to the death of Zarqawi since I know I won't get that from our corporate media.
Well now she has posted her thoughts, I'll diary her even more powerful post
Riverbend is asking questions
Do they really believe it (death of Zarqawi) will end the resistance against occupation?
As long as foreign troops are in Iraq, resistance or 'insurgency' will continue- why is that SO difficult to understand?
Who will be the new excuse for killing and detaining Iraqis?
So now that Zarqawi is dead, and because according to Bush and our Iraqi puppets he was behind so much of Iraq's misery- things should get better, right?
We know the answers. Read it. Read Kagro X's diary. Get angry.
