I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this or not, but Robert F. Kennedy had about a twenty minute interview on Charlie Rose last night (his interview was the final third of the show). And goddamn was he fired up. It was so great to see someone with such moral outrage and passion speak so openly and articulately about a wide range of topics -- the 2004 election, the Iraq War, the loss of respect and affection for America that the Bush presidency has inspired around the world, etc.
There's a link to the program towards the bottom of Rose's site, charlierose.com. I can't recommend it more.
If only Kennedy had a better speaking voice, I think he would make a great political candidate. (Does anyone know if he has a medical condition or something that affects his voice?)
If anyone else watches the interview, does it seem to you that it has been edited -- like Kennedy seems like he's about to continue talking at certain times but the video cuts to Rose switching to another topic? It would be unusual for Rose to do that if such is the case.
