I hope this is the last Meta Diary I see in a month of Sundays. Meta has become metastatic.
Jeebus on a pogo stick. There are nearly 100,00 of us registered here now, & we have to find it in ourselves to get along.
Some people don't like expletives. Tough shit. Expletives are allowed.
Some find Friday Night Snarkfests unproductive. Pffffttt!
We have our traditions.
Some people don't like discussions about religion or gardening or painting on a political blog. Too bad. Those diaries have a fan base. They are not recommended
against your will but
by the wills of their fan base.
Get used to it.
There have been numerous Welcome Newbie diaries posted, & yet some people don't get the general flow around here. You don't have to comment in a discussion you're not interested in. Move along. There's sure to be a good fitting thread for you. Find it & dig in. Don't go bumming up a thread where people are having fun unless it's patently offensive, eg: racist, sexist, ageist, etc.
This is not our blog. It's kos' blog. He can kick our asses outta here in a NY minute, but he has chosen to provide us with a open forum. Warts & all. Rejoice! It's a good thing.
Show some respect for the man.
Tips:
Don't troll rate comments you disagree with or for cussing. Troll rating should be rare. Try to be fairly sure the commenter is a troll before you hit that button.
Don't piss & moan about expletives.
Don't lay down your own rules & expect others to sheepishly follow you. Not gonna happen. We're Democrats.
Don't call out others in your diaries.
Try to be civil, but if you get in a fight, don't drag others into it.
If you see a fight, try to get to the source before you take sides.
There are alot of people here. All ages, races, classes, religions, & educational backgrounds. We are on the same side. Let's get along.
