This morning I passed my state capitol on my way to work as I do every morning when something caught my eye.
Today I noticed one person, holding up a hand-written poster, sitting in front of the building.
Written on the poster she was holding was one simple word: PEACE.
Why she wasn't accompanied by thousands of other people, I have no idea, but it only took one person to get my attention.
Don't underestimate the power of one. After all, one is all it takes to start a revolution.
So no matter how small your singular efforts may feel to you - it makes a difference. Your email, blog, letter to the editor, calls to congressmen, act of protest ... whatever, might be the one thing that tips the scales back in the right direction.
Please share your observations on how we as individuals can use the power of one to change the world.
