In an article at salon.com (
http://www.salon.com/...) writer and radio host Colin McEnroe has written the seminal piece on what has happened to Joe Lieberman in Connecticut. He details many of the actual reasons (not just Iraq) the voters in Connecticut have tired of Lieberman's reign as
Dauphin "progressive voice" of Democratic politics in his home state.
You have to sit through a (very) brief commercial to read the entire article, but it's worth every second. McEnroe has put together in just two pages the essence of what has so many people fed up with Lieberman. A Lamont victory will make McEnroe the most quoted man on America:
"...people in Connecticut know the war was only the tipping point. They have long memories of everything that came before."
