Hi Kossacks. I'm volunteering for the campaign of Clint Curtis and thought it would help to start diarying the race. The campaign has gotten little attention and Clint could really use the exposure and whatever cash you can spare. The Dem primary is Sept. 5 and Clint must defeat another challenger before going on to face Tom Feeney, a buddy of Jack Abramoff. I've had every intention of posting a more meaningful diary but just have not had time, so for now I'll just provide the basics which Clint's regional coordinator has suggested.
This is my first time working on a campaign as well as Clint's first time running for office, so any constructive criticism would be appreciated!
More below from Marty Ward, Clint's regional campaign coordinator....
Today, you have a chance to make it possible for every citizen to have his or her vote counted throughout the United States of America.
How can you do that? By supporting Clint Curtis in his bid for U.S. Congress against Tom Feeney. How does that affect you?
Clint Curtis is a computer geek who knows how easy it is to manipulate your vote because he was asked by Congressman Tom Feeney to create such a prototype in October 2000. Read the whole story at BradBlog.
It is all about YOUR VOTE really getting counted no matter where you live in America.
When Clint wins the primary and runs against Feeney, the mainstream media will shine the light of freedom on the shadow of corruption and we can get our votes to count once more!
This is your chance to make a difference in America. Stand up with Clint for democracy. Stand up and be counted. Make 5 calls a day to let Clint's constituents know about him. The script is easy to use and you can make a huge difference with each call you make. Contact Ms. Marty Ward at marty@clintcurtis.com. Be a part of history by helping us to restore your vote.
Thank you!
Marty Ward

Just a few dollars would help Clint out. There's even a $5 donation link on his website! And be sure to include the .01, he knows what it means. In fact, that's partly how I came to be a volunteer - I sent Clint $10.01 a few months ago after reading a diary here about him, and he wrote back to thank me and asked what the .01 was for. LOL. We invited him to one of our DFA meetings, which eventually turned into a presentation co-sponsored by the Daytona DFA and the Southeast Volusia Democratic Club. Clint demonstrated the vote manipulation software Feeney asked him to create.
I will try to post regularly about Clint's upcoming appearances as well as other news.
If you've read this far, thanks!
