I would like to propose to the Kos community that we unify our derogatory references to Lieberman and choose, once and for all, to call him either LieberBush or LiebesBush. My reasoning below the fold.
Now, I searched the archives and have found that this particular epithet is being underutilized and it's just too sad. I was having dinner with my dad and he commented that he loved that I was calling Lieberman LieberBush because he studied German in his youth and it translates losely to "Dear Bush" or "Loves Bush" if you replace the 'r' to make LiebesBush.
Liebe, being German for Love, and lieber meaning dear, or loved make ideal prefixes in this particular instance.
It's actually too bad his name isn't Liebesman because that would mean LiebesBush would be a direct translation to "loves Bush." However, I think we can fudge the letter and everyone will still get it.
I also suggest that we continue to capitalize the Bush in LiebesBush or LieberBush because it makes it more clear who we're talking about and the, ahem, possible alternative meaning to the more generalized "bush" which wouldn't be as relevant or bad.
Alternatively, we could hyphenate Lieberman to Lieber-Man because he's apparently some kind of superhero who protects us from the terrorists at night. After all, as Dick Cheney says, a vote for Lamont lets Al Qaeda win. Lieberman must be doing something extraordinary when we're not watching him if he's all that stands between us and Osama.
I like to imagine Lieberman as "the Punisher" protecting us with superior firepower and general violence at night, then donning senatorial garb during the day to continue his fight against terrah.
Please forgive me if I've mangled the German, but I think I've got it right, or close.
