I'm open to honest debate.
But I don't get the "trolling" thing.
I'm not referring to those online personalities who don't share my viewpoint.
It's those who do.
Comments can be posted to my blog anytime. The few comments deleted by myself (generated by the robotic Spam Mafia) have been removed, upon my discovery, "post" post.
I welcome a feisty exchange.
But, as a participant of several high profile progressive political forums, I have been "trolled" by those who supposedly share similar dogma with this blogger.
These trolls wear camo.
The comments of the camouflaged troll, aka C.T., never move the discussion forward.
The most compelling camo troll posts are written by those with obvious reading comprehension difficulties. Remarks posted are indignant comments regarding information the C.T. feels the blogger excluded.
Upon the blogger's review of the cited trolled blog posting, the so-called "excluded" information was indeed included.
As obvious as the nose on the troller's face.
Advice for Camo Trolls.
Read the blogger's post thoroughly. Reread for context clues. Highlight important information. Write your comment. Review your comment. Cross-check your argument. Spell-check. Preview your comment.
Does your comment move the discussion forward in a relevant fashion? Then post.
Or, are you an angry cyber insect, wrapped in a Cloak of Anonymity, who professes similar political affiliation and philosophy, yet lacks the self-confidence and discipline required to communicate an informed opinion?
Opinion.
Good word. Key word. Bloggers write about their own opinions.
Cyber op-ed.
Don't like what you read? Click on "comment". Fire away.
Just try not to embarrass yourself.
I, for one, in this current election cycle, do not have the time to redirect a camo troll by pointing out the already obvious.
This ain't my first rodeo, folks.
I'm real comfortable in the saddle.
Throw your best lasso and give me a yank.
Yee haw.
