I'm just thrilled that the FBI has arrested the dangerous polygamist, Warren Jeffs. I'm sure going to sleep better tonight knowing that our nation is now safe from whatever treachery he may have been up to.
Now that the Jeffs case all wrapped up, maybe we can make a little progress on the anthrax case. Go ahead. Call me backwards and paranoid, but I am a little more concerned about weapon's grade anthrax than I am about polygamy. People who have more than one spouse ought to be punished by being forced to have more than one spouse.
I know, I know. There was some weird stuff going on with the kids. So we are probably talking about a real crime here. But does that put someone on the 10 Most Wanted List? Aren't there some murderers or rapists or terrorists out there who deserve more attention?
So the Bush Administration is the outfit that we should trust more on terrorism? It seems that they have much greater interest in the likes of Warren Jeffs and John Karr than they do the anthrax killers or Osama Bin Laudin.
Perhaps under a different administration, the FBI will find greater interest in mass murderers and less in mass marriagers (is that a word?).
