How do you suppose a CNN or MSNBC non-editorial lashing-out at the president and his administration might manifest? I'm talking about a thoroughly underhanded 'n caustic diss that's got nothing to do with civility. What would it look like? Maybe...this?

Maybe.
Remember the X that appeared onscreen when Bush was speaking on CNN last year I think? And now
this happens, on the anniversary of Katrina? Hmm. Suspicious. I like it. I like this suspicious feeling. No, I frigging
love it, because (per my theory) it's a glorious middle-finger to
the Man himself - a ludicrously out-of-his-depth cretin who's probably never in his born days had an on-the-spot thought that wasn't, oh, "Hey, I'll fart now!" or "I bet that gal from Germany would like a back rub" or "When will this asshole from China quit talking so I can do my PlayStation and pretzels?"
A middle finger, by the way, thrown up by CNN. Establishment central. You can't get more corporate-mainstream. I just don't buy any kind of excuse regarding that open mic. I mean, a universally derided president is speaking on the anniversary of his administration's most atrocious domestic travesty, and during his speech, his words are literally bathed in the sounds of piss and toilet-stall talk? At what point has symbolism gone mad and attained reality-based form? At this point, I think. At this point.
Passive-aggression, writ large, by someone who doesn't respect the talking feces stain we call president - someone somewhere over there at CNN. But the more delicious possibility is that it was a directive from the top. "We don't care how you do it, but somehow, piss all over that clown's day...he presided over the wrecking of one of America's culturally precious cities, and we want to see full-on disrespect...DO IT!"
Let me fantasize, please. 'Cause I'm loving this.
