Colorado's three toughest congressional races are receiving a
a lot of attention these days --
These are three great Democratic candidates; and they're going against three bright shining examples of
Republican Radicalism,
Republican Corruption, and
Republican Xenophobia.
(Sheesh, whatever happened to balanced budgets, limited government, and ethics? Did Republicans completely kill those ideas too?)
Through serendipity and the hard work of many activists from all around the nation there are several blog and video projects coming to life that put the spotlight on these very important Colorado congressional races.
Check out these projects that highlight CO's toughest congressional races:
RIGHT NOW: Angie, Jay and Bill are featured in some video profiles done by PoliticsTV. You'll know exactly why these candadates are doing so well after you watch these video reports.
TODAY: Jay Fawcett is in the spotlight in Howie Klein's "National Security Campaign Week" at Taylor Marsh. Howie and Jay have some great questions for which the Bush Administration has
no good answers. The main question for me is why they haven't fired the
quack Donald Rumsfeld yet?
TOMORROW: Jay and Bill will be highlighted by Howie Klein's Blue America series at FireDogLake.
These two fighting Dems are exactly what we need in congress to hold President Bush and Donald Rumsfeld accountable for the mess they've made of the Middle East (or Southwest Asia as the incomparably intelligent Lt. Col. Fawcett calls it.)
Both Bill and Jay will be there for the discussion at 12PM MST. It can't get any more democratic than this, folks. Also, the first 30 donors to both will win a CD from Howie.
SEPTEMBER: Angie Paccione is featured in the same Blue America series on September 27. Mark your calendars. Angie's team just told me they've raised almost $1 Million dollars to fight Marilyn. It's going to take that much to win: we know big corporations love easily corruptible Republicans. So let's not let Marilyn slurp at that trough any longer.
COMING SOON: Crashing the States is coming through Colorado as part of a documentary to show the transformation that's happening in the heartland. They'll be with Bill October 17-18 and Jay October 16-17. Keep your eyes open for that.
