In 2002 and 2004 the Republicans effectively used their 72-hour-get-out-the-vote program using sophisticated voter identification models.
What are the Democrats doing in response this year?
It's not too late to:
1. Train and have ready turnout specialists who would "parachute"
into key districts 72 hours before election day.
2. Train and have ready teams of local volunteers in place a week before election day.
3. Leaflet churches on the Sunday before election day and go after religious voters.
4. Immediately pinpoint likely voters by using sophisticated computer technology, copying Republican methods.
After four years, is it too much to ask that Democrats copy successful Republican tactics?
And whatever happened to saving Social Security and other winning issues?
