We really need to massively organize this boycott. I have been so impressed with the work of many kossacks, who have found contact information for the various companies who are part of the "Path to 9/11" propaganda film.
ABC, Disney, Scholastic, etc. should be made to pay for this garbage. Although it might NOT make them stop this time, the goal now is awareness. Make the companies aware that we plan to hold them accountable.
More below....
1. Accountable by loss of market share.
2. Accountable by loss of goodwill.
Furthermore, a well-organized boycott will attract attention of even the lazy MSM. As a byproduct of this awareness, hopefully, some people will become aware of the lies in the original broadcast of the "docupropoganda".
So, back to my original statement. We really need to massively organize this boycott. The companies responsible have already been identified, now it is merely a matter of holding them accountable.
I suggest we use the large companies marketing strategies against them. Large companies have "Brand Managers". It is the responsibility of each Brand Manager to raise the awareness of the brand, determine the target market and advertise and promote the brand to that target market.
Furthermore, the "Brand Manager" serves as a point of contact within the company for their specific Brand.
I propose that we have volunteers who will lead the Boycott AGAINST EACH COMPANY. The boycott manager will be responsible for writing a weekly reminder email to the company as well as perform research on how to target each specific brand. An email blast each week reminding people as well as the MSM about the boycott as well as proposing alternatives to the COMPANY under boycott. The last thing a Brand Manger of Tide Detergent wants to see every week is a reminder to purchase Cheer detergent.
I propose that we also include a way that each company can end the boycott. A letter for example of apology in the WSJ and 10 other national papers should do it. However, they would have to mention the untruths and propaganda in the original show and apologize for their actions.
This will be a lot of work.
Each ABC television show has a specific point of contact JUST for that show. We need to identify each person at every company from the Brand mangers staff on up to the CEO and president.
We also need to make good on our threats. I personally plan to talk with the faculty of my school and prevent scholastic from ever coming back on campus. Furthermore, I will cancel our school trip to Disney. I plan to ALWAYS make sure that the companies know why I am leaving them and mention how they can attempt to redeem themselves and TRY to earn my business once again.
And last, but certainly not least. Each "Brand Boycott Manager" will be responsible for the TANGIABLE reminder of our boycott.
I propose that EVERYONE cut out any coupons, promotion notices, and flyers for each of the brands being boycotted and mail them to the brand boycott manager AFTER writing in bold letter, BOYCOTTED.
The "Brand Boycott Manger" will forward these weekly to the affected companies. It is easy to delete an email, but thousands of these each week should serve as a visible reminder. Furthermore, if you are as angry as I am, a physical action of writing BOYCOTT and mailing the coupons will help me deal with this emotionally.
Does anyone want to try this? I am a teacher, but I am very willing to do my part in this. We might need to do a bit of fundraising to start a website, and set this up. I am willing to do what I can if enough people think it's worth a try.
