OK...
I know this is not a diary and will delete as soon as someone points me in the right direction. There's a brazillion New Yorkers and Bridge and Tunnel people here so hopefully it won't even be up long and the diary I am knocking off will return.
I bet you want to know what it is about...
It's really quite stupid...
But at least it is enviromentally correct...
I promised Mrs. TVB I would make pickled herring for her birthday. That's next week which means I better start pickling that fish now. I am getting fucking desperate as I have been unable to find fresh herring at any markets near me in NJ. I have to go into the city on Friday so I'm looking for suggestions of where I will definitely find it there. I'm not interested in going on a tour of the city looking for it so unless you can include a phone number or know for sure they carry it all times, please don't share. It's not that I'm not grateful here but I don't have a ton of money to spend on gas.
I'm going to be in the Hell's Kitchen area so anywhere in midtown is fine unless it's like in Times Square or something because I drive in due to my hours and need to park my car somewhere.
Want to be my real hero?
Tell me about a place in central NJ that isn't two hours away from Flemington and you will be even more of a hero to me. I promise frequent 4's unless it is really bad schmaltz.
Ps: Please don't suggest buying it from Fairway. She will know the difference and I would end up so busted. If it was for me, I'd buy from Fairway in a heartbeat but they never give enough onion in the container.
