After running into Jehovah witness years ago, I studied cults. I watched in horror as the Bush administration used the same exact tactics as a cult. Now we see a very new cult which is one of the worst in American History. It's called
Jesus Camp. They claim they are teaching kids to "radically lay down their lives for the gospel"
.
This is very serious as they use the youth of America to brainwash them in a Al Qaeda type of manner.
They even have the children "worship" a picture of George W. Bush.
This is the group that was also involved in "The Path To 911"
What is a cult?
"Adherents who become increasingly dependent on the movement for their view on reality"
The children will be told that evil will try and stop them. Guess who that will be? US! Then as it unfolds the kids will not know the truth.
From a study of cults.
"The group is preparing to fight a literal, physical Armageddon against other human beings"
I am posting links that will have your jaw drop to the floor. You might even fall off of your chair. You will become furious and outraged that this is allowed to happen in America.
The floodgates were opened to this type of radical behavior when Bush played on emotions of so-called Christians who are simply radical in their way of thinking.
I am not saying all Christians are radical but a huge amount are now emerging under the wings of Jon Hagee, Pat Robertson and many other groups. This is one of the most dangerous groups/cults in American history.
When you waste your time in a debate with a right-winger take note from this cult study.
A form of mind control is "THOUGHT REFORM = LANGUAGE + SOCIAL & PSYCHOLOGICAL INFLUENCE" and "When you attack a person's self-concept, aversive emotional arousal is created".

To sum all this up about cults read what I post below and then watch the clips and think of what this administration is doing to this country.
"You're either with us or against us"
That was used by Bush to warn other countries outside of the U.S after 911. Now it's used on the very people he claimed to protect. We, the people!!!!!!!
Adherents who become increasingly dependent on the movement for their view on reality;
Important decisions in the lives of the adherents are made by others;
Making sharp distinctions between us and them, divine and satanic, good and evil, etc. that are not open for discussion;
Leader who claim divine authority for their deeds and for their orders to their followers;
Leader and movements who are unequivocally focused on achieving a certain goal.
The organization is willing to place itself above the law. This is probably the most important characteristic.
The leader sets forth ethical guidelines members must follow but from which the leader is exempt
The group is preparing to fight a literal, physical Armageddon against other human beings;
The leader regularly makes public assertions that he or she knows is false and/or the group has a policy of routinely deceiving outsiders
