So I filed last July for PCO Dem. And we opened a Dem headquarters in Downtown Mount Vernon Wa. Today. We had our first meeting in our new headquarters mostly ladies around folding tables, new paint, cleaned the carpet. Yard signs for all are candidates, oh yes we passed the hat just like church and we talked about phone lines , dsl or wi-fi for the computer and we talked about, are we going to focus on fund  raising or campaigning. I guess this is how it works you know, a Gov of by and for the people.

As you can tell here in Mount Vernon were a little late in the game for the midterms but maybe just right for 2008. I think George has done more for the Dems than just about anybody not even Howard Dean could inspire this 58 yr old to run for Precinct Committee Officer but I'll do the best job I can with this wanta be Texan  lam duck pretender in office.

Just so you know I feel that spilling American blood for a personal vendetta is more than just a high crime or misdemeanor. The idea of a Government of by and for the people has been a void for the last 6+ years that has cost this nation so much it is hard to comprehend.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
