Just when you think that Jerry Falwell has disappeared off the face of this earth, he comes back with a vengeance. Spewing such ridiculous political venom from that gutter mouth of his, I wonder, "would Jesus have the balls to kick him in the ass?"
But, he lives to make himself more important than what he should be. And, the astonishing thing is that people actually take in his bullshit like if it was water.
A couple of days ago, Jerry Falwell said that Religious Conservatives would mobilize in great numbers if Hillary Clinton won the Democratic Nomination for Presdient in 2008. Not even a run by the devil himself could mobilize the religious right to great numbers, he also said.
Hmm...so I guess King George will find a way to eliminate term limits from the constitution and run again in 2008.
Anyways...
So, Falwell decides well I didn't mean that, it was just tongue-in-cheek humor. Which is kinda ironic because all Larry Flynt did was "tongue-in-cheek" humor and he got arrested for it.
What amazes me about Rev. Falwell's stupid remarks about the former first lady and current Senator of New York, is that...
He's 100% right on the money.
Look at the 2004 Presidential election. President Bush proved that he isn't smart enough or curious enough to run this country, and it showed greatly in the debates where John Kerry kicked his ass from pillar to post.
But, what was on the mind of most religious conservatives?
Gay marriage.
This was on the minds of states that could've pulled for Kerry, but decided to go with the messiah-wannabe President Bush who promised to define marriage between a man and a woman.
Moral values determined the victor in 2004, not the atrocity that was and still is Iraq.
Where does Hillary Clinton fit in?
In the history of politics there is no other person, besides her husband that inspire such hatred than Senator Clinton.
It goes back to 1992 when she stepped onto the scene with a
no-nonsense, take no crap kinda attitude that made her a hero to the modern-day working woman when she said in response Jerry Brown's attack on her and then Governor Clinton about conflict of interest caused by Hillary's law practice and her husband's tenure as Governor of Arkansas.
"could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas".
With that comment, people like Rush Limbaugh and Jerry Falwell erupted in their insecurities.
Hillary makes Religious Conservatives nervous because she isn't the traditional housewife who'll stay at home, cook a meal for the king of the castle and pump babies out of her babies every year.
There's is no merit to the Religious Right's argument that a Hillary Presidency will warrant a destruction on the traditional values of this country. They don't want her as President, because if there's one thing the Religious right hates is a intelligent woman who won't take guff from anyone in the White-Christian dominated America.
And, with the 24/7 media dominating are lives, every Right-Winger will be out in full force spewing lies about this woman and the bottom-feeders who believed the bullshit that President Bush fed us, will believe anything that isn't true about Senator Clinton.
There are many reasons why Hillary shouldn't run for President in '08, besides her alleged socialist leanings, but all narrow them down to just 3:
1.) If Hillary wins the whole thing in 2008, the succession of Presidents will read like this over the last 20 years up to that point. Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton. the founding fathers didn't intend to have the Presidency be ruled by one dominate family after the other. It's as if royalty has taken over the Presidency. There should be a need for fresh blood. Fresh ideas. Without these Americans turn into brain dead fools who believe that best option is the old one.
2.)A Hillary nomination will mean the mobilization of the religious right in high numbers. To them she's fair game. Any lie that they'll pull out of their ass will be broadcast and printed for the entire country to see. It'll also mean the continuation of a Cancer that is spreading in the political scene. The Religious Right has destroyed almost every nuance of this country. We're living in a semi-theocratic regime run by a man who believes in the theory of Armageddon. Senator Goldwater once said that every good Christian should kick Falwell in the ass. Well, I think it's time that every good American kick these son of bitches to the curb.
3.) Both Clintons have inspired hatred that's highly shameful and unwarranted. I don't think it would be a great idea for Senator Clinton to run based on the fact that she will be the target for every smear merchant in this country, and I don't believe it's good for the nation or good for her family to be subjected to such hate-mongering and smear tactics by insecure individuals.
What's on the mind of most Religious Conservatives?
40 million Americans without health care?
The mistake in Iraq?
Corruption?
New Orleans?
The gaping hole at the World Trade Center site?
Terrorism?
Nope, it's Hillary Clinton. Their preoccupation with her says a lot about this base. They don't care about the major problems in this country, but a woman that makes them scared for whatever reason. It shows that their selfish and misinformed about her and the country itself.
However, they'll be out in full force pleading with their God to forbid the election of the Satan spawned Hillary Clinton. And, of course some pitful fool will believe it.
