Stepping up a war of words between the Middle East's two most implacable enemies, Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom challenged the U.N. General Assembly to "end its obsession" with the Jewish state and focus instead on "the active involvement of Iran and Syria in terrorism."
"Indeed, Iran has replaced Saddam Hussein as the world's number one exporter of terror, hate and instability," Shalom asserted at the world forum.
