You have got to be fucking kidding me:
"Joe Lieberman just can't bring himself to hold anyone in Washington accountable, even when the safety of our children is at stake. If Dennis Hastert knew that Mark Foley was harassing minors and didn't do anything about it, he should resign immediately. Anyone who disagrees is morally tone deaf. The fact that Joe Lieberman says calling for Hastert's resignation is too "partisan" demonstrates that he's been in Washington so long that he can't recognize the difference between what's right and what's partisan. [emph mine]
We expect Senator Lieberman to stand by President Bush on the war and other failed policies, but until now we didn't expect him to protect a public leader who put the safety of our children at risk. Connecticut deserves better than someone who puts a twisted definition of "bipartisanship" ahead of what's right for this country. It's time for a change."
That's Ned Lamont talking on his blog, by the way.
No, there's not going to be much original material in this diary. But how could I resist the conflation of the two biggest stories on Daily Kos--Joe Lieberman's continued revamp from loyal Democrat to loyal Republican, and Masturgate.
So Joe is lining himself up with whom here? Rush Limbaugh? Gary Bauer? John Boehner? George Bush?
I'm just glad Joe is there to point the way for us, morally speaking. You can always count on him to identify where we've lost our righteous way, and to condemn the people responsible for...uh, hmmm. I...hmmmm. Is he really...well, now. He...uh, well...hmmm.

I mean, WTF? Anyone have a Joe-Denny kiss photoshop ready yet? Or maybe in this case the contact should be an IM love letter?
