In Sept. a Danish newspaper published an article about an author who was unable to find someone to illustrate his book about the Prophet Mohammend. They asked for submissions to perhaps illustrate his point. However, they received many entries and published twelve of them. Copy this into your brower to see them: www.brusselsjournal.com/node/698. Big protests. There are a few in the dozen that, IMHO, are perhaps crossing a line, however artists and O'Leilly cross that line all the time.
There has been much debate in Europe regarding this situation, and I have found it to be very interesting to hear the freedom of the press vs religous sensitivity arguements from their <mostly> segular perspective.
Is anyone aware if there have been any American publications that have republished these?
