If "Hollywood Elites" tend to lean left, "Pro-Athletes" seem to lean right. Examples include Jim Bunning, Steve Largent, Lynn Swann, Charles Barkley, Roger Clemens and Tom Osbourne. There are of course exceptions: Bill Bradley comes to mind, but by and large there seems to be a distinct rightward lean.
My questions is, how do these pro-atheletes reconcile the anti-union stance of the GOP with the fact that they belong to some of the most powerful labor unions on the face of this planet? Sure no body agrees with everything that is in their party platform, but this seems like a pretty fundamental issue to me.
I mean, when was the last time a GOP pro-athlete cross the picket line during a strike because they believe in the Wal-Mart/GOP business model?
