Porter Goss says he has an `excellent idea' where he is.
Scott McCellan says Goss means Pakistan.
Personally, I think he is dead. But where do you think he is? In a moment we'll take a poll to find out where in the world America thinks Osama bin Laden currently resides.
But first, a little propaganda.
The Times of London, the same paper that first reported the Downing Street Memo(s) reported in September of 2002 that a captured al Qaeda leader, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed let slip that indeed Osama was dead.

Heck even the Mossad thinks he's dead.

Some folks even held his funeral: http://www.welfarestate.com/binladen/funeral/
Now, let's remember that OBL has not been seen since the fall of the Taleban regime in Afghanistan in 2001. There was a little chit-chat a few days ago here at KOS about this. I said he was dead. After all, if the guy could plan the most sophisticated terrorist attack in the history of the world from a cave, then he should at least be able to smuggle out a crude cassette tape with statements proving he was alive; i.e. Redsox World Series victory, capture of Saddam, etc. After all, OBL is an egomaniacal publicity hound.
One thoughtful person let me know that there was an audio tape released just before the election that showed OBL knew that Kerry was running against Bush. That proved OBL was alive. But hey, we know with all of our super, techno, gizmo wizardry that tapes are easy to forge. Indeed, it's been proved that past OBL `tapes' have been forged.

So we can clearly state there is no proof that OBL is alive. Indeed, in my own little world of conspiracy theories and other flights of fancy, the proof is on the side of his being dead.
On the other hand, just a week ago another in a long line of captured #3s in the al Qaeda hierarchy said OBL was alive and well. So there you go.
And Porter Goss, the head of the CIA says he's alive. What more proof do you need?
OBLs continuing survival demonstrates a decided failure of Bush's war against terror, on the other hand his survival is a good excuse to keep this war going. The Poster Boy for Evil must be hunted down like the dog he is and brought to justice; or worse.
My personal paranoid, cynical, conspiracy nut view is that he's dead, on ice, waiting to be `captured.'
And when you look at the freefall of George Bush right now, he needs SOMETHING major to check his political death plunge.
Now it's your turn. Where in the world do YOU think OBL is:
