Just 40 minutes after Democratic candidate Jack Billion crushed Governor Mike Rounds in last night's televised debate, Rounds cancelled a debate scheduled for November 2.
He has nothing to show for his four years as governor of South Dakota, other than signing an unconstitutional abortion ban. And that is probably headed for defeat on November 7.
For those of you who live in South Dakota, the debate will be on South Dakota Public Television again this Sunday, October 22 at 2 pm Central, 1 pm Mountain Time. Its also on their website in realplayer, at

I haven't had time, but I will put some highlights up later. My favorite part was during the closing statements when Mike Rounds gave us one more platitude, this one about thanking South Dakota's veterans. Jack Billion said as a veteran, I want to thank Mike Rounds for recognizing veterans.
