Every day until the election I'm making a contribution to a new candidate, announcing it here on Daily Kos, and encouraging you to join me. If one person matches my contribution on my ActBlue page, I'll double my contribution; if ten people match it, I'll triple. Yesterday five people matched my contribution to Claire McCaskill, so today I'm sending her $20 more.
This series has focused largely on pushing the blue front - taking seats in districts we weren't supposed to win, or borderline seats. I've been thinking that we need to be alert to the Republicans "sneaking in the back door" - taking seats we had taken for granted. Today I want to run defense. Follow me below the fold to find out why I'm supporting Julia Carson.

My donation history is below the fold.
Julia Carson is a good liberal incumbent from Indianapolis, and there are signs that her seat is in jeapordy. Julia has more money than her challenger, but he's pumped a couple million of his own into his campaign. She hasn't received a lot of attention on the blogosphere, so maybe my
research notes today may be a little more useful than usual. Julia, here's $20; I hope we bring in a bundle for you today.
