On Friday Senator John McCain was the headliner at a fundraiser for Congressman Tom Reynolds of NY. McCain decided not to actually show but did a video conference instead. He, as the Senator of Arizona, was telling voters that they should re-elect Reynolds who as chair of the National Republican re-election effort in the Congress tells voters in all districts that they should elect Republicans.
At the event was also GOP state chair Steven Minarik who stated "People from outside this district are trying to tell you who your congressman should be". (Thanks to Ben Smith at the NY Daily News for reporting this quote at his blog http://blogs.nydailynews.com/...)
Isn't that exactly what McCain was doing and what Reynolds does every day? Total Incompetence that they can't even hold an event without stepping all over themselves.
