Howard Dean has been telling us that "you can't trust the Republicans with your money" since sometime during 2003. He's absolutely correct, and it's about time we use some facts based 'sound bites' of our own this time around.
As far as I'm concerned there's a whole hell of a lot we can't trust the Republicans with, and I'd like to see this laundry list spouted on one of the weekend talking head bobble-shows.
What list? This one...
You Can't Trust the Republicans...
... with your money (see: staggering US debt)
... with your children (see: Latest GOP sex scandal - Mark Foley)
... with your soldiers (see: lack of body armor contribing to thousands of US casualties)
... with your elderly (see: GOP pharma bill and it's effect on millions of seniors)
... with your national treasures (see: GOP bills to drill oil in the ANWR, cut old growth in national forests in the pacific northwest...)
... with your international relationships (see: Iraq, North Korea, Iran, France, Afghanistan... )
... to keep us safe (see: September 11, 2001)
... to balance the budget (see: What? They keep borrowing and spending, there is no balanced GOP budget, and there hasn't been one for more than forty years, and the debt just keeps on climbing)
... to properly fund education (see: outdated and useless military programs past any use still in research and development and testing phases and sucking up billions - like the Missle Defense System begun during the Reagan Administration)
... to protect individual rights, as required by their oath of office (see: the Patriot Act of 2006, The Military Commissions Act of 2006... )
You can't trust the Republicans.
You can't trust the Republicans.
You can't trust the Republicans.
Vote Democratic.
