In
The California Courage Campaign's new ad, which is debuting tomorrow in select cable markets throughout California, the most important Californians answer the following question:
"What do you think about George Bush's special interest agenda for California?"
Who are these important Californians? Why, The Future of California, of course: kids.
More over the flip.
In a parody of the 2004 anti-Dean Club For Growth ad that urged Dean supporters to take their "Volvo-driving, New York Times reading, chardonnay-sipping..." selves back to Vermont, here we have children casting Bush and his "war-mongering..." agenda out of California.
I won't give it all away but it's pretty freakin hilarious to see kids saying these things with a straight face.
The idea is to grab people with the humor and then hit them with the ask:
Vote No on Props 85 & 90.
Proposition 85 is the latest attempt by anti-choice forces to impose a parental notification on California. Proposition 90 is Howie Rich's anti-government anti-environmental tax payer trap masquerading as eminent domain reform.
Make no mistake, the extremist Bush agenda is on the ballot in California this fall and we've got to vote No. The Future of California depends on it.

Thanks!
Oh and almost forgot, in order to keep it on the air, we are trying to raise an additional $20,000. I know this is crunch time nationally but the last thing we want to see is the nation go blue while California goes red! Anything you can donate to keep our ad on the air would be appreciated!
