I was sitting next to a guy on the el with a Bush/Cheney button on his backpack. Brave fellow to do that in Chicago. He got off at Belmont, too. I wonder whether the punks, goths, gays and yups in one of the most Democratic zip codes in the City know he's there and keep him around just to celebrate diversity.
Anyway, I really got a chance to study the Bush/Cheney button. You know that stylized flag of theirs? It's got 20 stars. Four columns, five rows, not staggered. In no way could it represent our staggered star flag.
So, I'm just wondering what he's going to do with the thirty states he doesn't like, and what constitutes a state he does like. I mean, SD will go for him, but has Dems representing them. MT the same.
You know, I wouldn't mind Bush so much if he really was just president of the twenty bubba states and left the rest of us alone.
Can't you just see him in Idaho threatening the People's Republic of Washington State with his potato guns?
Yes, friends, morning sure came early today.
