Having just found out that yet
another "journalist-pundit" type is - literally - in bed with the GOP, I'm interested in diagramming out who is far too cozy with The Majority Party these days, and if possible, for how long.
This is who I've got so far:
Andrea Mitchell [NBC] <3 Alan Greenspan [Chairman US Fed. Reserve]
Howie Kurtz [WaPo] <3 Sherri Annis [GOP consultant to Arnoid]
Daryl Kagan [CNN] <3 Rush Limbaugh [Volkist demagogue]
James Carville [DNC advisor, CNN] <3 Mary Matalin [GOP strategist]
So, who else knows of other personal connections?
I'm looking for particularly marital/sexual, but also familial, work-related, and particularly the more obscure ones, and particularly in the SCLM, and most particularly those who aren't advertised or admittedly conservative (ie if they work for NRO or Clear Channel like Lindsay Graham and Laura Ingraham, it's not
as scandalous, but still relevant I think.) Things also like Bow-Tie's dad being in charge of PBS, frex.
Just like with the matrix of the Hegemony, I want to keep these things in the forefront of our consciousness, and spread them to a wider awareness outside left blogistan - deny them the automatic credibility just as with the money trails of paid advertising conservative punditry. If the Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent for NBC News since 1994 is in bed with a Party official since 1997, a Nixon advisor and Ayn Rand Fan no less, that has to change how you look at what she says, just as if you were a Kremlinologist observing nepotism/cronyism in the old SSSR.
They have a vested interest in the Status Quo, if not in the Left losing. Out them all (not just the GLBT ones!)
