While wandering through the treacherous swamps of conservative news outlets and blogs as I am occasionally wont to do, I came across a few gems. And rather than keep all that blather and shameless lying to myself.... I decided to share.
No worries, you don't have to thank me.
I'm particularly fond of The Conservative Voice,
http://www.theconservativevoice.com/
a barf inducing round up of Pat Buchanan, Jerry Falwell, and Ann Coulter, just to name a few.
The first gem to share is right below the fold.
The good buddies of Joe Lieberman over at The conservative voice think that A good republican masquerading as a dem is hard to find:
Sen. Joe Lieberman is invoking a familiar refrain: "A Good Man Is Hard to Find."
Lieberman lost to Democrat Ned Lamont in the August primary and is running independently as the candidate of the newly formed "Connecticut for Lieberman" party. Because of that, his name will be listed far down on various Nov. 7 ballots around the state.
Fearing voters won't be able to find him, the three-term senator is launching an advertising effort in the coming days to educate voters about his place on the ballot. In addition to leaflets, the campaign plans to air a radio jingle and a TV ad featuring Lieberman to avoid any voter confusion. Campaign leaflets will feature the "Good Man is Hard to Find" line.

Before I left there, I fully enjoyed this hilarious read: Who is President George W. Bush?
Some in the Bush administration went as far as to call Christians who were politically involved "nuts." The truly, dedicated people who thought they had the President's backing were called out of their name by an administration who they thought were their friends.
Even the Faith-Based Initiative was considered by some of the White House staff as "the F-ing Faith-Based Initiative." Obviously, the staff wasn't tactful in hiding their disgust for the program.
Who is President George W. Bush? If he indeed snubbed evangelicals, then the President's assertion of being the conservative leader have been false.
Republicans have been about values and securing conservative causes, up to a point. So to back peddle on the conservative agenda makes President Bush and his staff pseudo conservatives. It's quite disconcerting as many have been led to believe that the President truly supports conservative causes.
Read the whole thing for full effect.

No foray into enemy territory would be complete without a visit to Free republic.
I found this hilarious thread dedicated to Nancy Pelosi, whom it appears they loathe and fear even more than Hillary. They think they are onto something because of a photo taken in her childhood with a black man driving the family. Hello? How many years ago was that?

A few choice comments below:
That's Nancy Pelosi in the back seat with her mom and dad. Notice the cheering crowd. What is wrong with this family photo?
The only visible African American is driving Miss Nancy!!!
If Democrats take House, Pelosi likely to be speaker
If my Grandmother had two wheels, she would likely be a bicycle.
Not
Gonna
Happen!
The only thing Nancy(bought and paid for by the homo lobby)will be tough on is Christians.
(The 'Pubbies will pick up at least TWO seats in the Senate and FOUR seats in the House in 2006)
So after chuckling at those silly freepers I strolled on down to WorldNetDaily,(I know, I have a strong stomach)where I found this gem:
Webb had a distinguished record in the Marine Corps and served with distinction as President Reagan's secretary of the Navy. He was known as an opponent of women in combat. Now, of course, running as a Democrat, he has switched gears and run on every politically correct platform you can imagine - women in combat, opposing a ban on same-sex marriage, for minority racial preferences, etc.
So what does Allen do? Does he attempt to show he's different - more sensible on the issues of the day? No, he attacks Webb from the left. He says he's really soft on women in combat!
No, I've got to tell you, I think the idea of putting women in combat - anybody besides Hillary Clinton - is one of the worst ideas to come down the pike. Oh, how I wish I had a chance to vote for a U.S. senator who would represent me on this issue. Instead, I have two clowns arguing over which is more eager to send my daughters to war.
Sweet dreams, and GOTV!
