disagree on Kerry and agree on Clark.
My basic problem with Kerry opting out is that he simply can not generate the 15+ million dollars that he would have gained by taking matching contributions but now loses if he opts out by Feb. 4, 2004. Kerry right now is in trouble in the polls and financially as Dean has significantly outraised him, and if the report by
Nevsky42 is correct, Dean has already outraised Kerry's 3rd quarter results in the 4th quarter. Kerry has few hopes other than seeing Dean and Clark stumble after they take Lieberman, Gephardt and Edwards out of the race, so these low hopes translate into low money totals.
