I grew up in a military family.
I always imagined what it would be like if my loved ones were engaged in conflict. I knew they would serve with honor. I also knew there was a chance they wouldn't come home.
I figured one way I could help them was to stop the battle before it begins. War is just politics through violent means, they say, so I took an interest in politics and history.
One thing I found out is that all wars are a tragedy. Whatever gets us to the point of throwing hot lead and chemicals at each other is a failure for the human species.
I also found out that things are always changing. People who used to fight each other now live in peace. There are examples of this all over the world.
So please help us find peace. Share your links, stories, ideas, and examples of how you are honoring your loved ones by pursuing peace.
We have the ability to live in peace.
