I followed a link from one of Kos' diaries on the new polls regarding KJ's excited over (Drum roll please) DEMOCRATS for Santorum, which at last count maybe incluced Zell Miller. That's not what got my Irish up so to speak. I followed the link and came across this:

Don't Pennsylvanians Watch The Office?
[Kathryn Jean Lopez 10/30 01:49 PM]
An e-mail:
While watching Bob Casey look down his nose and haughtily dismiss Santorum's latest salvos, I found myself thinking, "C'mon, Bobby, you're just an Irish kid from Scranton, for pete's sake. Why put on airs?". Then it hit me: SCRANTON, where The Office's Michael Scott dwells in clueless meglomania. Casey is....Michael Scott! I still cannot believe that even this crazy Commonwealth is going to put this vapid featherduster of a man in the Senate
Just and Irish Kid? WTF? Imagine if someone had written that Harold Ford were "just a black kid" or Bob Mendez just a "hispanic kid". This person would rightly be condemned for bigotry. Now, I know that KJL didn't write this email (apparently) but to post it, refuse to comment on the slur and use it against an Irish person to be is tantamount to condoning and outright promoting bigotry. She ought to be ashamed of herself for doing this and insulting many good Pennsylvania voters who like me are "Just Irish kids." KJL and the NRO out to be ashamed and Irish Americans ought to take their anger out on Santorum.
