and feared dead --
how can the President continue to plan 8-10 enaugural balls?? -- Isn't that just too tacky, - too selfish, -
Basically dancing on the graves of all the dead!!
I cannot find that kind of behavior Christian - or even religious in any way, shape or form.
It goes back to the old saying -- what the hell are they thinking??
I cannot believe that kind of behavior is OK with Americans in General.
Many Royal families in Europe cancelled their customary New Years functions for the Diplomatic corps and goverment officials and dignetaries in general - and went to memorial services for the missing instead.
Wouldn't that kind of behavior be more appropriate - even to Republicans?

WASHINGTON - Fifteen Americans are known to have been killed by the south Asian earthquake and tsunami, and with thousands more unaccounted for, the number is expected to rise, State Department officials said Monday.
The State Department has received more than 20,000 inquiries through its embassies and call centers in the United States, Adam Ereli, a spokesman for the department, told reporters. While 15,000 of these inquiries have been answered, about 5,000 remain to be dealt with, he said.
Ereli urged people with information about missing loved ones to contact the government.
