Pat Robertson's 700 Club show has a segment called "Bring it On", where Pat takes questions from normal people like you and me about really tough issues. Usually the questions asked by "people" are softballs that allow Pat to wax philosophical on his issue du jour. For example, recently Pat "wrote" a
"book" about his twisted views on the American Court system, and coincidentally most of the questions on "Bring in On" were about the Courts, which let Pat plug his book. Anyway, I was inspired by djtyg's
diary to contact Pat and maybe, just maybe, on the slightest possible chance (and because I have nothing better to do) I thought we may be able to get Pat to address this on his little "Bring it On" show. Futile, I agree, but if enough of us do it, then maybe, just maybe... well, you never know.
What I did on the flipside.
Go to Pat's
700 Club and click on the "700 Club" pull-down and select "Bring it On" Read through the phony-ass message there and click on the "submit probing questions" link. Or, just click
here. Now, what I did in my question was to try to act like a fawning Robertson disciple, and act confused because reality is starting to seep in and now I don't know what to dopleasehelpmePatwhatamIgoingtodoIcan'ttakeitanymore... You get the idea. And the good part is that you do not have to give them your name or email address or anything like that... which probably is more evidence that the whole thing is a sham and therefore a complete waste of time.
Here's my question (it has to be 12 or less lines long):
What would God say about the recent news concerning "Jeff Gannon"? As you know, he is male prostitute (who advertised his sinful services on the internets) who somehow snuck past security and pretended to be a journalist in the White House for two years, using a fake name! I truly support President Bush and am grateful for his leadership, but how could he or his people not have known what was going on? I am very confused over this matter and I seek your advice.
Enjoy!
And take a poll!
