which have accompanied every war. They have served a worthy, honorable cause, they have worked to make our world better for all of us.
Let us honor:
Everyone who didn't serve, but went to jail instead, or worked stateside when refusing was more acceptable.
Everyone who sacrificed hundreds or thousands of hours of their life working for peace.
Everyone who missed precious moments with their children... because they were working for peace.
Everyone who fled their homeland, because they wished to find peace for themselves and their children.

Let us honor:
People of religious faith who have worked for peace.
People of no religious faith who have worked for peace.
People who have worked to spread the practice of non-violence.
Let us honor:
Everyone who has been attacked by police forces while demonstrating for peace. (Everyone, in every country, every age.)
Everyone who's been killed in the cause of peace.
Everyone who's successfully been part of working to create peace in a time of war.
Let us proudly salute their efforts, and vow to take up their cause, with all our hearts.
