I've been out of town literally since election day and my readership of dk has been spotty at best, but I am curious if people are starting to consider a mass protest of Bush's inauguration in January. It seems that there were plans to protect the Republican convention in works for months, so I'm hoping that the networks and means are still in working order to get a million or more people into DC to make sure it's known that Bush is not exactly working with a mandate of the people.
I'd personally love to see the remainder of Bush's time in office turned into nothing but mass protests wherever he goes, to the point where he's scared to leave DC because of the people. Screw this bubble boy presidency. I'm hoping we will all continue to act.
If anyone has links to groups who might organize protests, please post them here. I don't know if I can physically pull off a DC protest, but even donating a little money to various organizations would make me feel better.
