I can't believe that there are still 'professed' Clarkies out there who feel the need to bash Dean.
Frankly, the 'Big Players' don't worry about what the other guy is doing... they set the agenda.
I looked at 'Families First' and thought here comes some great 'Democratic Agenda'! Yahoo! My candidate, Howard Dean, is going to need to start putting out something besides 'We are going to roll back every cent of the Bush Tax Cuts'.
But, noooooooooo! The Dean-bashing wing of the Clarkies aren't talking about 'Families First'. They aren't telling us about the economic benefits of hundreds of thousands of families and children lifted out of poverty. Those people will be buying things and putting other Americans to work.
Nope. We gotta play caveman with clubs, bashing our own Dem Party members....
Now Look at This:
I am subscribed to the Wes Clark email-o-the-day system, nicely named, 'wespoints' and look at the treasure I found.
Quote of the Day
"Modernizing the American health care system is going to take a higher standard of leadership. One that puts America's interests above the special interests. One that promotes open, honest government, and holds its leaders accountable, with real, measurable goals. Leadership not just for the next election, but for the next generation."
- Wes Clark
Bold Print Mine!
Now, honestly, Clarkies have some great stuff to talk about! Why is a Dean backer telling KOS about this instead of a Clarkie!?!
And yet we get the Dean-bashing... Oy Vey!
The Clark and Dean campaigns need to be in a race to the top... like this quote.... not a race to the bottom.
Wes Clark should 'Take the Oath' on two things:
- No bashing other candidates... it's a waste of time.
- I will support the Dem Nominee... I hope it's me.
And Wes Clark's 'professed' supporters should do the same! Maybe even ahead of their candidate!
